Privacy policy

Trippi helps travelers book tours in Belize over WhatsApp, and helps tour operators and guides manage those bookings. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- WhatsApp details: your phone number and WhatsApp profile name.
- Messages: what you send to Trippi, including photos or documents you share.
- Booking details: dates, group size, tours, prices and booking status.
- Operator and guide details: business or personal name, area, services, prices, availability, and the information needed to set up payouts.
We do not collect or store card numbers. Payments are handled by our payment provider.
How we use it
- To understand your request and recommend tours.
- To make, confirm, change or cancel bookings with operators and guides.
- To send you booking messages, payment links and receipts.
- To pay operators and guides.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
Who we share it with
- The operator and guide on your booking, so they can run your tour.
- Meta (WhatsApp), which carries our messages.
- Our payment provider, which processes payments and payouts.
- AI model providers, which process message text so Trippi can understand and reply.
- Hosting and storage providers, which run our servers and store files.
We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep conversations and booking records for as long as we need them to provide the service, handle refunds and disputes, and meet legal and accounting obligations. After that we delete or anonymize them.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can stop receiving messages at any time by telling Trippi to stop, or by blocking the number in WhatsApp.
Children
Trippi is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
